How it works

This is how Nailoveya is meant to work: three moves, in the middle of your night out. All you need is your hand and a few seconds.

  1. Stick it on.

    Before you head out, put the sticker on your nail like any other nail design.

  2. Dip it.

    If your drink seems suspicious, dip the tip of your nail into it briefly.

  3. Read it.

    The test area is designed to change colour when certain substances are in the drink. We will publish exactly which ones with the finished product.

    No reaction does not mean your drink is safe. The test only detects certain substances.

Are you organising a festival, a club night or a campus party, or are you part of an awareness team? At launch we want to offer Nailoveya in larger quantities too: to hand out at the awareness stand, for goodie bags, for the bar, or as part of your safer-partying concept. A version with your logo is possible too.

If something feels wrong

Trust your gut. With or without a test, and even if the test shows nothing.

  • Stop drinking. Keep an eye on the glass and hand it to the staff or the awareness team.
  • Tell your friends and stay with people you trust. Do not go home alone.
  • If you or someone else suddenly feels dazed, dizzy or sick: call emergency services on 112 right away.
  • It is not your fault. Free, anonymous support is available around the clock.

Questions & answers

Can I buy Nailoveya yet?

Not yet. Nailoveya is currently in development: we are testing and improving the sticker before it goes on sale. Join the waitlist and you will be the first to know when it launches.

When does Nailoveya launch?

We will only name a date once development and testing are complete. We would rather give you a product you can rely on than launch fast. Follow the waitlist and @nailoveya on Instagram to stay up to date.

Which substances will Nailoveya indicate?

Nailoveya is designed to react to certain substances used for drink spiking. We will publish exactly which ones, and under which conditions, with the finished product. We only state what we can back up.

How reliable will the test be?

That is what we are working on, and we will share exact figures once testing is complete. One thing is already clear: no rapid test detects every substance. So never rely on a result alone; rely on your gut and your people too.

Does no colour change mean my drink is safe?

No. A test can only react to certain substances. If nothing changes, keep looking out for yourself and others. A test is no substitute for caution.

How much will Nailoveya cost?

We are planning a 2-pack for €3.99 and a 10-pack for €9.99. Final prices and shipping costs will be confirmed at launch.

What do I get from the waitlist?

You will be the first to hear when Nailoveya launches, plus news from development. Signing up is free and non-binding; you are not buying anything. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

What should I do if I think my drink has been spiked?

Stop drinking, tell the staff or the awareness team and stay with your people. If there are symptoms such as feeling dazed, dizzy or sick, call 112 right away. That applies always, with or without a test.

I organise events. Can we work together?

Gladly. We are already collecting enquiries from festivals, clubs, bars and awareness teams. Email events@nailoveya.de with what you are planning and we will get back to you as soon as we can plan for launch.
